Ques=1= What are printers ? Where are they used? Describe different types printers and their                             classification.[Drum printer, Dot matrix, Ink jet and Laser jet printer]

Ques=2= What do you understand by half step in Dot matrix printer?

Ques=3= What do you mean by standard? What is significance of it. Classified them as primary                         standard and secondary standard. Also brief the Electrical Standard and calibration.

Ques=4= A moving coil voltmeter with a resistance of 20 ohms gives a full scale deflection of 120                    degree when a potential drop of 100 mV is applied across it. The moving coil has                                  dimensions of 30mmX25mm and is wound with 100 turns. The control spring constant is                    0.375X10-6  Nm/degree . Find the flux density in the air gap.

Ques=5= The inductance of moving Iron instrument is given by :
                      L= (10+5θ-θ2)μH

                where θ is the deflection in radian from zero position . The spring constant is 12x10-6 
                Nm/rad. Estimate the deflection for current of 5A.

Ques=6= The inductance of moving Iron ammeter with full scale deflection of 90 degree at 1.5A, is                   given by expression

                                         L= (200+40θ-4θ23)μH where θ is deflection in radian from zero position.
                Estimate the angular deflection of the pointer for a current of 1.0 A.

Ques=7= An 0-10A ammeter has a guaranteed  accuracy of 1% of full scale deflection. The limiting                   error while reading 2.5 A?

Ques=8= The current passing through a resistor of 100+/- 0.2 ohms is 2.00+/-0.01 A. Find the                             limiting error in power dissipated through the resistor.
